Courage, Compassion and Connection: Exploring the gifts of imperfection Book Series

Join us for a book series integrating gentle yoga, active reflection and artistic expression as we embody the gifts of imperfection and step into living wholeheartedly.

The series will meet for 5 Wednesday evenings* to explore the 10 Guideposts for WholeHearted Living from Brene Brown’s book The Gifts of Imperfection. Each session will actively blend chapter content with discussion, movement, meditation and artistic expression. All are welcome. Lynn and Katie are inspired by working to empower people to live authentic, connected lives. Price of $150.00 includes all sessions.

Facilitated by Lynn McCarthy, MS, eRYT-200 and Katie Kilty, Ed.D., CDWF:

Lynn McCarthy holds a MS in Exercise Physiology, certifications in Strength Training, Personal Training, Cardiac Rehabilitation and WellCoaches®. Lynn has worked in the field of exercise science, health & wellness and managed a wellness center for L+M Hospital. Lynn began the practice of yoga in 1996 and holds a 200hr yoga teaching certification in the Anusara tradition. As a bit of an anatomy geek, she has developed and teaches a yoga specific anatomy curriculum for professional yoga instructors training for certification. Her teaching focuses on alignment, body awareness and self-care/compassion.

Katie Kilty, Ed.D. is the principal of MindPower Resources where she provides services in leadership development coaching for individuals and organizations in the corporate and organized sport spaces. Employing a combination of courageous leadership, storytelling and design thinking, Katie empowers individuals and organizations to reach their highest potential. She holds a doctoral degree in Counseling and Developmental Studies with a specialty in Sport and Performance Psychology and is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. She is an active volunteer who is energized by creating and supporting community based programs utilizing sport and the arts for social change.
